Bates Farm is excited to offer a Kids Archery Club for ages 5 and up!

Our program is designed to introduce young archers to the sport in a fun and safe environment.

Program Details:

• Age Groups:

  • 5-8 years

  • 9-11 years

  • 12 and up

• Group Size: Max of 8 kids per group; minimum of 4 to start.

• Cost: Only $10 per child per session, invoiced monthly after the 1st session on April 14th. 

• 50% Range Fee Discount: $10 for each child participating in the Archery Club for any regular Archery Day Friday- Sunday

Special Offers:

• Weekly Rate: Attend weekly and receive one free round at the 3D archery range!

• Equipment: Start with affordable recurve bows, or rent our equipment for just $10 per class. Each rental includes a recurve bow and 3-5 arrows, plus an arm guard.

Schedule:

• When: 1  hour 15 minute time slots on Mondays  5-8 year olds 10:00 - 11:15 am,  9-11 year olds 11:30 - 12:45 pm and 12+ 1:00 pm - 2:15 pm starting April 14th, 2025 

• Tournament: Join us for a special tournament for homeschoolers on either Saturday, October 18th or Monday, October 20th!

• Range Safety Rules: Understanding safety is our top priority.

• Types of Targets: Learn about different targets and what they’re best for.

• 3D Archery Scoring: Introduction to scoring techniques.

• Archery Facts: Fun facts and trivia about the sport.

• Parts of a Bow: Get familiar with the equipment.

• Shooting Techniques: Tips for form, aiming, and distance shooting.

• Handouts: Each participant will receive informative handouts.

• Tournament Opportunities: Explore local tournaments, including ASA events if interested
